TECHNOLOGY APPLIED IN EDUCATION

I would like to reflect and describe my experience during the ICT course at University in this blog. First of all, I had an unclear and uncertain idea of what ICT means in Education and in Teaching.  Thus I found curious and  intriguing to assist to this subject, I have learnt lots of new technology terms, tools, applications, and resources to teach to new generations at schools.

HOW WAS MY ICT EXPERIENCE?

In the first class, Miss Edith suggested us to give classes in the "Voluntariado of Gruvii Group" in “Estacion Sur”. I really loved this idea, we were the first group. It was easy and quick to prepare everything because most of the members of my team have been teaching at different schools. During the classes at the workshop, we used technology through YouTube videos and songs. So, we enjoyed a lot with children, we danced, played, sang, and ate some snacks.
Besides, I worked with a great and hard-working team; they have been quite responsible and serious during the activities that we were assigned for this topic.  We were always helping each other, and very excited and passionate with every practice!
Thus, in the following pictures, it is reflected the amazing time that we shared with children and the other volunteers.

TOOLS AND APPS!

Apart from that, we have acquired and developed the use of different tools, sources and applications to implement in the classroom.
As I have a little idea of the usage of technology, it was difficult and demanding to do the exercises, sometimes I didn't understand them well, so  I had to look for information on internet, what it was about before starting any activity.
It was a real challenge for me, but I like them all!

At the beginning, the task was not clear, we had different and controversial perspectives. I worked with other three students so it was really difficult to agree with. Then the topic was explained in detail during a class.  And finally we believe we did a great work, it was easy to divide each role, to plan the topics and the activities developed in the programme.
Indeed, we had a lot of fun!
